Algnostic Metatrader 5 - News Settings
The visual settings are the core functionality of the Algnostic trading EA. Hover your mouse over the news event to see the name that matches the list.
Enable/ Disable news: Choose to display or not display the news from your chart
News Source: Choose from multiple news sites for your economic data
Total News Days: Display the number of news days you want to view on your chart (some sources are limited to the current day only)
Enable Low Priority * 1-star *: View economic news events which are marked as a 1-star / low priority news
Low Priority Color: Set the color of the text and lines on the chart for low priority events.
Enable Medium Priority * 1-star *: View economic news events which are marked as a 2-star / medium priority news
Medium Priority Color: Set the color of the text and lines on the chart for medium priority events.
Enable High Priority * 1-star *: View economic news events which are marked as a 3-star / high priority news
High Priority Color: Set the color of the text and lines on the chart for high priority events.
Filter currencies: Choose which currency you want to view economic events for on your chart
Check for specific news types:
- true: filters all news on chart based on the typed in keyword
- false: does not filter news
News type keyword: Filter all news based on the keyword you type in here
Text X-Axis Position: Adjust the text on the chart horizontally
Text Y-Axis Position: Adjust the text on the chart vertically
Font Size: Specify the font size of the news text
Draw lines on chart:
- true: Draws a line vertically on the chart so you can see future news events
- false: Removes vertical line on chart showing future news events.
Line style: Choose what line style you want your vertical news lines to appear as
Line width: Choose the thickness of the vertical news lines
