Algnostic Metatrader 5 - Alerts & Notifications Settings
The visual settings are the core functionality of the Algnostic trading EA. Hover your mouse over the news event to see the name that matches the list.
Set news window X minutes before: This setting is for alerting you before news starts. This way if you are doing a funded challenge which prohibits the news, or you don't want to lose all your money, then you can get out before the news potentially takes you out.
End news window X minutes after: Set this time in minutes to notify yourself of when it's OK to trade again.
Close Trades before news:
- true: Will automatically close trades
- false: Do nothing
Close Trades X min before news: If you have set 'Close Trades before news', then your trades will close, before the news, based on this attributes value in minutes
Notifications (Pop-Ups):
Enable Notification 1: Used to notify you before the news starts. It will list how many minutes you have fore a news/ economic event occurs
Notifications 1: # of Min. before news: Set how many minutes before you news you want to see notification #1
Enable Notification 2: Used to notify you before the news starts. It will list how many minutes you have fore a news/ economic event occurs
Notifications 2: # of Min. before news: Set how many minutes before you news you want to see notification #2
Notification Time reference: When the alert pop-up appears it will reference your local time or broker time depending on your setting here
