This article is a way to help you understand and compare the rules and specifics about the top funded challenge companies for trading. This article is a work in progress.
We've come across funded challenges that look good, and then later find out that once you pass, then you pay a nice big one-time admin fee. This information is usually back in the depths of their helpdesk articles, or many times the information is not very well worded. We don't find that being very transparent, so here is what we found when we've researched different companies. Enjoy.

- When you pass and pay for a Live Funded account, you are considered a professional trader in the eyes of Topstep, so you will be paying the Exchange fees.
- "You can likely subscribe to cheaper data through your personal brokerage account because that account is classified as a Non-Professional. You will be classified as a Professional Trader whenever trading with us in the Live Funded Account."
